FWI is a non-sectarian not-for-profit technical assistance clearinghouse for community and faith-based organizations seeking to contribute to their local communities by developing affordable housing and community facility space.

FWI also supports community partnerships which establish retail business franchises and other business ventures that create new jobs for local residents and enhance local economic stability.

FWI is headquartered in the New York City and employs an internet based local and worldwide communication networks to design, develop and manage projects. E-based technology integration makes it possible for FWI to bring professional technical assistance providers and resources to development projects any place in the world. This advance technology system is managed by an outstanding multi-cultural group of young high school and college students.

Poor communities located in metropolitan areas in North America, the American Hemisphere and indeed throughout the world share many of the same characteristics: high concentrations of disadvantaged residents, substandard housing, declining low skills job markets and lack of a qualified employment pool, as well as other difficulties.

Notwithstanding these obstacles, most metropolitan communities are experiencing rapidly growing populations which are fueling higher costs for housing, healthcare, and education, greater energy demands and increased big business economic activities.

To face these rapidly changing societal issues, community and faith-based organizations are often seen as the most permanent and enduring sense of neighborhood and family for residents who often feel they have little or no opportunity for economic advancement.

FWI uses our technical assistance resources, partnerships and technology systems to link local community organizations with needed resources such as low-cost or no-interest bank loans and professional service providers such as: lawyers, accountants, architects, contractors and the like to assist in the development of community projects which directly address the needs of local residents who they know best.
