Community Development

FWI works with community leaders and professionals from multiple disciplines to facilitate the development of new and rehabilitated structures.

Today, Community Development requires a comprehensive analysis of physical, economic, social, political and environmental demands. FWI examines each of these areas and works closely with not-for-profit and faith-based service providers to design, develop and build structures which can meet the needs of residents and enhance the sustainable viability of local businesses.

Local service providers are struggling to build the internal capacity within their organizations to meet the overwhelming need for affordable housing and community facility space. As the pressures of increasing populations and decreasing available land in metropolitan and urban centers continue to grow, local services providers are being forced to become involved in structural development projects.

FWI is providing the technical support to for innovative community development projects.
