Washington Hgts – Inwood Project
FWI is working with Movimiento Misionero Mundial to develop a vacant track of land located in the Washington Hgts – Inwood section of Manhattan, New York. The Manhattan congregation of the Movimiento Misionero Mundial is worshiping in space within a nearby office building. FWI coordinated a development team and designed a development plan to build a new Church complex which will accommodate 800 worshippers, with adjoining space for community activities and residential housing.
The Washington Hgts – Inwood project presents certain unique challenges which the development team because the site is long, narrow and hilly, it presents certain challenges for the design of an appropriate structure. FWI has established a partnership with church leaders to move forward with this exciting project. FWI's role would be to coordinate development activities, bring in the construction team, and obtain financing for the project at a level of between $15 million and $20 million.
FWI is working with several community developments, financing Institutions, “mezzanine” financing partners to provide equity support, construction funds and permanent financing.
