FaithWorks International Inc. (FWI) is a not-for-profit community and economic development corporation. The Mission of FWI is to work with faith-based and community organizations to develop affordable housing; promote the creation of sustainable businesses and new job creation; and expand the use of technology in poor communities.
The central focus of our mission is the creation of Partnerships to develop new buildings and businesses. These partnerships address the needs of underserved communities in a comprehensive fashion. The problems of global economic inequality are lived by individuals and families at the level where human beings interact everyday. Our experience has been that individuals and societies benefit most from the organizations which they know and trust in their immediate community.
FWI recognizes the value and importance of supporting local partners. Outstanding local community organizations are the foundation for building strong sustainable buildings and businesses. We respect their incredible commitment in the face of ever decreasing resources, and we know the value of their enormous institutional knowledge.
Our Goal is to fundamentally improve the quality of life for people most in need in the American hemisphere. Each day we work to develop new partnerships that expand our community and economic development opportunities.
